Whether you're looking to issue a new card, temporarily freeze an existing one, or permanently terminate a card you no longer need, here is how you can do it:
How to issue a new card?
Creating a new Brighty card only takes a few moments:
Open your Brighty App
Scroll down and tap "Add new card or product"
Select "Virtual Card" or "Physical Card"
Choose the card type and design you prefer
Confirm your selection
Your new card will then be generated automatically.
Card is not generating?
In most cases, card issuance is completed within moments. However, if your card takes longer than expected to generate, please contact our Support Team and we'll be happy to assist.
Card issuance limits
Please note that there is a limit of 10 card issuances per calendar month per customer, and this limit cannot be increased.
Card fees
Fees for issuing and maintaining cards may vary depending on the card type and your subscription plan. Additional information can be found in the following article: Fees and Limits | Brighty FAQ
How to freeze a card?
If you'd like to temporarily block your card, you can freeze it directly in the app.
To freeze your card:
Open your Brighty App
Select the card you wish to freeze
Tap "Freeze"
Once frozen, the card cannot be used for transactions until it is unfrozen.
You can unfreeze your card at any time by opening the card details and selecting "Unfreeze".
How to terminate a card?
If you no longer need a card, you can permanently terminate it through the app.
To terminate your card:
Open your Brighty App
Select the card you wish to terminate
Tap the 3 dots in the top-right corner
Select "Terminate Card"
Confirm your choice
Important!
Once a card has been terminated:
The action cannot be reversed
The card cannot be restored
The card will no longer be visible in your account
A terminated card can no longer be used for any transactions
If you are unsure whether you may need the card again in the future, consider freezing it instead of terminating it.
