How do I close my Brighty account?

We’re sorry to hear that you’re considering closing your account. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience or help with any concerns, please let us know - we’d be happy to assist.


Before you close your account

If you still have funds in your balance, we recommend transferring them to your bank account before requesting account closure. Your account can only be closed once all transfers and card transactions have been fully completed and no funds remain on the account.

Please note that if you choose to close your account, you will not be able to restore it or open a new one in the future.


How to close your account in the Brighty app?

You can close your account directly in the Brighty app by following these steps:

Profile → Security → Terminate Account

You will then be asked to provide a reason for the closure and confirm your request.


Why is my account not closing?

If your account cannot be closed, this is usually due to one of the following reasons:

  1. You still have funds on your balance - your account may remain active if there are still funds available in your balance. If the remaining amount is too small to withdraw, it may be taken as an account closure fee. In such case, feel free contact our Support Team.

  2. You have pending transfers or card transactions - your account cannot be closed while transfers or card payments are still pending. Closure will become possible once all outstanding transactions have been fully completed.
